¨My husband has Parkinson's, plus dementia setting in. Having to put your husband into a facility because you can no longer safely take care of him is stressful and heatbreaking. Then I met Sara, at Discovery at Palm Beach Gardens. She had me at "hello". Sara took me on a tour of the memory care facility at Discovery, and I felt this would be a wonderful place for my husband to be cared for. He has been there for two weeks and has settled in beautifully. He loves the food and seems to be content. I visit often so he doesn't feel abandoned. His apartment is comfortable. The nurses, care givers, maintenance and houskeeping, are very compassionate and have great personalities. Because of Sara, I made the decision to put my husband at Discovery, and am very happy with my choice, as also my husband seems to be. Sara introduced me to Enid Maisonet, Memory Care Director. Enid has an infectious smile and is always pleasant. If you want a question answered, Enid is the one to set you straight with honest answers about behavoir. As she told me, she's seen it all. Right now, on my end, this is still a learning experience. My husband always looks forward to the afternoon snacks, especially if it's ice cream. I highly recommend Discovery.¨
